To date, this aid had been extended six times, after the last produced last February.
The extension aid of 400 euros per month referred to in the program of retraining for people who exhaust their unemployment benefits, the so-called ‘Prep Plan’, has entered into force on Saturday 16 August.
This program of up to six months is aimed at I retrain and improve the employability of long-term unemployed or those with dependents depleting unemployment benefit contributory or any of the subsidies.
This provides for the development of custom integration pathways designing the Public Employment Services depending on the characteristics of the beneficiary and economic aid to accompany around 400 euros a month (75% Public Income Indicator of Multiple Effect).

Recipients must show that they have actively looked for a job or participating in proceedings to improve their employability for a month before agreeing to help.
The Government believes that the Plan Prepare progress in the dual purpose of alleviating a real situation and need to recover the use of the group of beneficiaries .
Prepare Plan was amended in August 2012 after evaluating the program in force until then. The Government has agreed with the social partners to put implement a recovery plan for employment and improved protection. This plan will provide priority to long-term unemployed, those with low educational level and the unemployed with dependents in households without earnings.
The objectives of the Ministry of Employment is the promotion of a greater relationship active policies of employment and unemployment protection system to reduce the search time and facilitating early return to work.
