Madrid, December 18 (EFE) .- The affiliation of foreigners to the Spanish social security stood in November at 1,549,398 people, an increase of 0.27% over the same month last year, according to data released today by the Ministry of Employment and Social Security.
Most affiliates (924,295) came from countries outside the EU, while 625,103 were from EU countries.
Of the foreign workers, the largest number came from Romania (268,351), followed by Morocco (187,575), China (92,029 ) and Ecuador (72,200).
By gender, the sum of affiliates in November, 839,161 were men and 710,239 women.
Foreign contributors represent 9.2% of total of 16,695,752 members who had the Spanish Social Security in November this year. EFE
