The National Court also investigates Deloitte in the case Bankia – Spain Investing.com

MADRID (Reuters) – The judge of the Audiencia Nacional Fernando Andreu said Thursday it has summoned to testify as researched (formerly imputed) to the Deloitte audit in the case investigating alleged irregularities in the IPO Bankia (MC :) in 2011 .

Andreu has called to testify next June 20 the legal representative of Deloitte and partner at consulting Francisco Celma, which in the past and gave evidence in investigations.

the prosecution considered the auditor of the accounts of Bankia shares responsibility for alleged fraud that occurred during the IPO of the company.

in late January the Supreme Court lay down two appeals filed by Bankia, opening the door to thousands of lawsuits from individuals about alleged irregularities in the IPO before the nationalization of the company, which unveiled a patrimonial hole billionaire.

the Bankia now nationalized then opened negotiations to offer special agreements to thousands of shareholders. This morning, the bank said it has returned 1,200 million euros to shareholders in compensation
