Volkswagen economic losses for first quarter of 2016 – The Associated Press

The turnover fell 3.4 percent to 50.964 billion euros, by falling sales and negative effects of exchange rates.

Instead, according to Volkswagen, operating profit improved by 3.4 percent to 3,440 million euros, 300 positive extraordinary effects EUR million.

After losses Volkswagen of nearly 1,600 million euros (for provisions for the costs of handling gas emissions), the company sold in the first half 2.577 million cars, 1.2 percent less than in the same months of 2015.
