This breakthrough has been developed thanks to technology that integrates and called ‘Fuso Canter E-Cell, which has been installed on a trial basis in trucks (with capacity of seven tons) of the parcel delivery company Hermes since April.
the intention of Daimler is to carry out mass production of this vehicle since the manufacturer expects gradually reduce manufacturing costs of the batteries to set the price below 200 euros / kWh in 2025.
