The benefit of Iberdrola (Amsterdam: ID6.AS – news) <- - google_ad_section_start!> In the first half of the year, marked by a stable electricity demand in Spain and rates unfavorable exchange, fell 3.3% to 1,457 million euros, announced Wednesday the Spanish energy group.
The gross operating profit (Ebitda) was 3,892 million euros, 1.4% more than in the first half of 2015. The group bet now for a growth of net profit in 2016 at least 5%.
Iberdrola explained that the first six months
of the year were marked by the negative performance of the British pound and the Brazilian real, and the stable demand for energy in Spain.
