Sony reported recently the financial results for the third quarter of the last fiscal year, which covers the period from 1 October to 31 December 2016. There, stands out strongly the growth of PlayStation 4 in the market.
The Sony console has experienced the best quarter in its history, with 9.7 million units sold and projected a total of 60 million consoles in march 2017.
This trend manages to buffer a few bad results from Sony, whose profits have fallen by 54.3% over the previous year. The company explains these losses arguing to a poor performance in their film projects.
