With the software version 4.50 of the PS4 can use external hard drives and view movies in the RV, among other improvements.
Sony has announced on their official blog the release in beta format in the next version of software for their console PS4, which brings the number of version 4.50, and it would be a great new software update for the device.
There are two new features that stand out from top 6 that will come with this new software; the first of them is the possibility of connecting hard disks to the PS4 to expand your storage space, simply connecting a drive with USB 3.0 support to be recognized by the console.
The second feature is directed to the fans of the 3D movies and Virtual Reality, because with this update, the PS4 will be able to play movies in stereoscopic 3D, thanks to the integration with the glasses in PS VR.

It also has changed the section of Notifications, because now it will include several tabs, such as alerts games, downloads, updates, and so on; you can also turn off notifications that you don’t want to receive using the options menu.
As we mentioned at the beginning, this update is now reaching out to the registered users in the testing program, which will be receiving in their email instructions for download and installation. For now it has not been given a date of deployment to the public.
