Delinquencies banking stagnates at 10.1% in January and remains at levels three and a half years ago – Yahoo Finance Spain

The default of loans granted by banks, savings banks and cooperatives to individuals and companies has stalled 10.12% in January, which is maintained at minimum levels recorded three and a half years ago, according to provisional data released Friday by the Bank of Spain.

this rate includes change methodological ranking of Financial credit establishments (EFC), which are no longer considered within the category of credit institutions.

the total number of bad loans fell in January to 133 422 000 euros, 905 million less than at the end of 2015. in one year, doubtful have declined by 38,302 million euros.

So, late payment of banking has been reduced by 3.48 percentage points compared to record high marked in December 2013, when it stood at 13.6%
