MEXICO CITY.- The car manufacturer Seat is launching its first electric vehicle in 2019, as reported by several makers of the brand in Spain. The company will match so the proposed power in the rest of the Volkswagen Group, who are already beginning to market products in this category.
According to internal sources speaking to Autocar, the hybrid propulsion systems are too expensive, which is why the transition from combustion vehicles to electric will occur without any intermediate steps in the case of Seat.
Seat joins the train driven by companies such as Tesla, Renault, Nissan and Toyota, who sold electrical goods next to the combustion vehicles.
