The Generalitat has failed Friday payment within the drug Catalan to not pay them the bill for drugs dispensed in October, amounting to 118.7 million euros.
This default accumulates two months late and a total debt of 230.4 million.
As reported in a statement the Council of Colleges of Pharmacy of Catalunya, this default adds to the bill that is pending collection since September –111.7 million euros– that apothecaries should have perceived the November 5.
Collecting December bill “not is confirmed “so that the Council of Associations of Pharmacists of Catalonia and the FEFAC employers continue negotiations with the Government and the central administration to realize how may charge accumulated debt.
Pharmacists have warned the central government committed to the arrival of a Liquidity Fund Autonomy (FLA) social before the end of the year, “and yet so far no date has been set.”
They have criticized the draft budget of the Generalitat for next “cronifica the problem” year, considering that envisages an increase of 1.01% over the departure of this year’s bill medications dispensed in community pharmacies.
