SPAIN: azValor closes new additions following the departure of five analysts to the project of Paramés – EntornoInteligente

Expansion / The analysts had already worked with Francisco García Paramés in Bestinver.

azValor, manager founded by Álvaro Guzmán de Lázaro, Fernando Bernard and Beltrán Parages after his departure from Bestinver, has announced that in the coming weeks will be incorporated new analysts after news that five of their six analysts will leave the company to join the new project that prepares Francisco García Paramés.

Paramés announced last week at the presentation of his book, ‘Investing in the long-term’ his intention to create a new manager after failing to reach an agreement with their former colleagues to join azValor. But the one known as ‘the Buffett Spanish’ will not be alone in their new manager. Juan Huerta de Soto, Carmen Pérez, Juan Cantus, Ivan Chvedine and Mingkun Chan, analysts with whom we worked on her stage in Bestinver, will be incorporated into the project. Only Jorge Cruz stays in azValor.

Guzmán de Lázaro has welcomed in a statement “the work developed during this year, and for the availability shown to stay the time that is necessary in order to carry out an orderly transition”.

In the year that has been running azValor has attracted more than 2,000 million euros and has placed their funds among the top jobs by profitability.
