“This remarkable retreat of the ICC occurs both by a worse assessment of the current situation as by the decline in expectations,” says the report of the CIS.
With this setback, the indicator stood at 91 points in front of the 97,3 that were recorded a month before, standing at its worst level since may.
The values of the ICC range between 0 and 200; if the figure is above 100, the perception is positive and below is considered negative.
The decline in consumer confidence in September contrasts with the increase of 2.5 points was recorded in August.
