MADRID (Reuters) – sales of flats in Spain resumed the path of growth in August with an increase of two digits after the contraction registered in July.
According to data published Friday by the INE, sales of homes rose in August on a 20.3 per cent year-on-year, to 35.501 drives, after the-year decline of 10.2 percent registered in July.
The NSIS had warned last month that the data of July could be distorted by the decision of the Records of the Property to suspend the registration of certain mortgages by a Supreme Court ruling on the unfair nature of clauses on the rate of interest.
once corrected the defects of the mortgages affected, they would contain in the records in the next few months, said the INE last month.
