Cantabria and the business world are turning in goodbye … – La Opinión A Coruña

The main Spanish bankers and businessmen attended yesterday the funeral of Emilio Botin, who died last Tuesday, to clothe his family, along with thousands of Cantabrians, who filled the interior and exterior of the Cathedral of Santander. In the photo on the right, some of those who rallied observed the arrival of Ana Patricia Botin and her husband, William Morenés. The widow of Emilio Botin, Paloma O’Shea, meanwhile, was the last to enter the temple. He did applause of the people.

Meanwhile, business representatives and the president of Telefónica, César Alierta, the CEO of la Caixa, Jaume Giro, and the president of the Catalan financial institution Isidre Faine, (top right) also did not want to miss the opportunity to offer condolences to the family of banker.
