The community of Extremadura registered in the second quarter of 2014 a total of 678 certifications foreclosure initiated and registered on the records of ownership of rural and urban properties, according to statistics of foreclosures published today by the National Statistics Institute (INE).

Inside the homes, foreclosures on homes totaled 12,367 individuals in the second quarter, of which 9,611 (77.7%) are common home ownership and 2,756 are not habitual residence of the owners . The latter increased by 3.8% quarter on quarter and 1.3% in the second quarter of 2013.

Meanwhile, foreclosures on homes totaled 6,788 corporations in the second quarter , 0.9% less than in the previous quarter and 8.1% over the same quarter of 2013.

According to INE, the total number of foreclosures on homes, over eight in ten (16,420) used affected households, with quarterly growth of 7.6% and 15.5% year growth. Executions on new homes totaled 2,735, with quarterly and annual declines of 26.3% and 25%, respectively.

CATALAN LEADS ON HOUSING MORTGAGE EXECUTIONS.

By region, Catalonia led foreclosures on homes in the second quarter, with a total of (3,994), followed by Andalusia (3,981). On the opposite side stood La Rioja (61), Basque Country (94) and Navarra (118).

On all farms, Andalusia led the number of foreclosures, with 7,703, followed by Catalonia (5696) and Valencia (5365). A tail again placed La Rioja (101), Navarra (199) and Basque Country (201).
