"Spain prompted the ECB to 30,000 million SME lending" – The New Spain

The Economy Minister Luis de Guindos said that the Spanish banking prompted around 30,000 million euros at Banco European Central (ECB) to lend in “very competitive” companies, especially SMEs, and special conditions.

In an interview published in La Vanguardia, De Guindos admits “There is concern that the recovery is fragile, gets no force” , but stresses that it does not share the forecasts of some analysts who speak of a third relapse in the euro zone. “I am not so pessimistic,” he says.

The economy minister believes that Europe will not have any negative growth in the coming quarters but it considers “essential” put “emphasis” on the reforms.

De Guindos expected, despite the slowdown in Europe, the Spanish economy will end the third quarter with a growth around 0.5% .

I Asked sovereigntist theme Catalonia , the minister noted that neither investors nor analysts consider likely secession of Catalonia because it is not a “neither rational nor realistic nor possible” scenario.

Besides, he says, Catalonia is one of the communities that has taken advantage of the government’s reforms.
